The younger of the two Espargaró brothers achieved his fastest time in the second session, while Australian Jack Miller, Italian Andrea Dovizioso (both Ducati) and Portuguese Miguel Oliveira (KTM) were the fastest in the morning (the heat was less). Problems (braking, like a week ago) for Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), 14th on this first day.

As expected, Johann Zarco (Ducati) was not allowed to take to the track this Friday, he who underwent an operation on his right scaphoid Wednesday morning. The French will have to pass a medical examination again to obtain the right to drive on Saturday and tenter to qualify.
