Motorcycle accidents continue to claim lives and this Monday happened with Luis Antonio Santaella López, 21, who slipped the white Bera Socialista that he was driving along the Morón-Coro national highway near El Caidy, San Francisco municipality.
The motorist lived in the Agua Linda sector, Jacura municipality and was with the adolescent María Fernanda Tovar Perozo, 15 years old, from Caidy, in Mirimire. She herself suffered abrasions and she was transferred to the type II outpatient “Doctor Jose Curiel Abenatar”
The accident occurred after 9:00 p.m. this Sunday, but Santaella died this Monday at the Doctor Alfredo Van Grieken de Coro Hospital where he was transferred.
It is the sixth motorized in the statistics of deaths in accidents so far in 2023, first after the accident of a young man in Tucacas, Silva municipality, during Carnival.
In the San Francisco municipality, there was no traffic accident with a tragic result, since May 30, 2021 in the El Cristo sector. The deceased by run-over was also 21 years old.
