Motorcycle Parking in Front of the Palace, MotoGP Racers Meet Jokowi

The racers who will appear in the Mandalika MotoGP park their motorbikes in front of the Merdeka Palace. Then, wearing their racing costumes, they entered to meet President Joko Widodo.

The racers from various classes who will appear at the Mandalika Circuit will wear full costumes when they set foot at the Merdeka Palace. They then took off their helmets and carried them into the palace.

The racers were then greeted directly by Jokowi and engaged in conversation at the Palace.

Jokowi and the MotoGP racers plan to have breakfast together. After that, the racers will conduct a MotoGP parade in Jakarta.

The Jakarta MotoGP Parade will take place from the Merdeka Palace to the HI Roundabout.

The MotoGP parade in Jakarta is a series of activities before the racers compete in the Mandalika MotoGP which takes place this week.

The Mandalika MotoGP race is a sign of Indonesia’s return as one of the hosts of the grand prix race after 25 years. The last time Indonesia hosted a grand prix race was in 1997 when the race took place at the Sentul Circuit.
