The mayor of Sarno, Francesco Squillante, has proclaimed city mourning for tomorrow, Friday 4 October 2024, in conjunction with the funeral of Aniello Ingenitothe young 32 year old from Sarno who tragically passed away following a road accident that occurred last Sunday on the road that connects Cava de’ Tirreni and Vietri sul Mare.
With this decision, the municipal administration wishes to express its deep condolences and closeness to the Ingenito and Prisco families, as a sign of solidarity and participation in the pain that has affected the entire community. Sarno is a dismayed city, which rallies around those who have been affected by this dramatic loss.
Tomorrow morning the municipal council will formalize the resolution to proclaim the city’s mourning, which involves the display of flags at half-mast at Palazzo San Francesco, bearing the symbol of mourning. As a sign of respect and reflection, at 12pm tomorrow, all citizens and businesses are invited to observe a minute’s silence in memory of the 32-year-old who passed away.
