M Reva Wuninggar (20) was injured as a result of being shot motorcycle booty. The horror incident occurred after the victim fought the sadistic thief.
The attempted theft of a motorbike occurred on Tuesday (4/4) at around 22.30 WIB in Cilangkap, Tapos, DepokWest Java (West Java).
Initially, Reva caught the action of the two robbers. He then chased and fought the robber.
“The witness saw a chase by the kebab seller (the victim) who chased the suspected perpetrator because he wanted to steal the victim’s motorcycle and the victim threw a stool at him,” said Depok Metro Police Chief Kombes Ahmad Fuady to reporters, Wednesday (5/4/2023).
Reva’s resistance efforts thwart the robbery. However, he was injured as a result of being pushed by the perpetrator.
Reva suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim is currently being treated at Sentra Medika Bogor Hospital.
“The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the right chest through the armpit,” said Kombes Fuady.
The two perpetrators then fled after failing to retrieve the victim’s motorcycle. Police are still investigating this case and hunting for the two perpetrators.
Current Condition of the Victim
Two days after the shooting incident, the victim is still in hospital and is in stable condition.
“Still in the hospital. His condition was stable when the first incident occurred,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Depok Metro Police AKBP Yogen Heroes Baruno to reporters, Thursday (6/4).
