A motorcyclist (45) was slightly injured in an accident on Tuesday morning.
The driver (50) of a Skoda Kodiaq was heading into the city on Friedrichstrasse. At the Könneritzstrasse intersection he collided with the 45-year-old, who was coming from Maxstrasse with a Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R. The police are investigating the cause of the accident. The material damage amounts to around 1,000 euros. (rr)
Pedelec driver injured in accident – witnesses wanted

A Pedelec rider (41) suffered minor injuries in an accident on Königsbrücker Straße on Monday afternoon.
A Renault Megane (driver 50) was driving on Meschwitzstrasse towards Königsbrücker Strasse. Even before the 50-year-old turned onto Königsbrücker Straße, he had to brake to avoid a collision with the Pedelec driving from the right on the sidewalk on Meschwitzstraße. The 41-year-old also braked and fell.
The traffic police are investigating and looking for witnesses who can provide information about the accident. The Dresden Police Department will receive information on (0351) 483 22 33. (kj)
Tools stolen from two Fiats

On Tuesday night, unknown people broke into a Fiat Doblo on Werkstättenstrasse and stole tools worth around 10,000 euros. The perpetrators stole, among other things, two saws, a thread cutter and a cordless screwdriver.

Last weekend, unknown people broke into a Fiat Doblo on Hörigstrasse and stole two motorized hedge trimmers. The amount of damage has not yet been determined.

Fog lights removed

Diesel stolen

Location: Dresden-Übigau
Unknown people stole diesel from four trucks on company premises on Tauberthstrasse on Tuesday night.
The perpetrators entered the area, damaged the tank caps of the trucks and siphoned off a total of around 180 liters of fuel. The value of the diesel is around 320 euros. The material damage was estimated at around 20 euros. (lr)

On Monday morning, a woman (30) was injured in an accident on Friedrich-Ebert-Platz.
An 87-year-old was driving an Audi A3 on Hafenstrasse and turned right onto Friedrich-Ebert-Platz in the direction of Lauchhammerstrasse. He collided with an oncoming VW Up! (Driver 63) together. The passenger in the VW was slightly injured. There was material damage amounting to around 1,000 euros. (lr)
Construction equipment stolen from VW Crafter

Unknown people broke into a VW Crafter on Nizzastrasse and stole several construction machines from it. They also stole headphones and sunglasses. The damage totals around 3,500 euros. How the perpetrators got into the car is the subject of the investigation. (rr)
Sunglasses stolen from VW

Unknown people broke into a VW Caddy on Weststrasse in an unknown manner. They stole two children’s sunglasses as well as keys and 5 euros. The damage is estimated at around 70 euros. (kj)
Drone pilot discovered fire

Unknown people have set fire in the “Wasserburg Altes Mool” forest. A drone operator (24) discovered the fire and alerted the fire department.
The perpetrators set fire to a hollow tree trunk in an as yet unknown manner. By chance, the 24-year-old flew over the forest area with a drone and noticed the fire. The Firefighters put out the fire.
The amount of damage is currently unknown. The police are investigating the arson. (kj)

Unknown people stole a Simson S51 on Fabrikstrasse. The 35-year-old moped is worth around 3,500 euros. (kj)

Unknown people damaged the door of a house on Am Kettenbach street.
The perpetrators destroyed the glass insert of a front door and an outside socket. They caused damage amounting to around 1,000 euros. (lr)

Unknown people smashed the rear window of a Mercedes in a parking garage on the main street. Apparently they didn’t steal anything from the car. The material damage was estimated at around 250 euros. (lr)
Moped without insurance – driver without a license

On Monday evening, police officers stopped a moped ZNEN (driver 31) on the B 169, which was presumably technically modified.
The officers noticed the moped because it did not have a valid insurance license plate attached. As they drove behind, they noticed that the two-wheeler was traveling at more than the permitted speed of 45km/h. During the inspection, they discovered that the moped had probably been technically modified and was therefore more powerful. Since the 31-year-old did not have a license to drive a motorcycle, the German is now being investigated for, among other things, driving without a license and violating the compulsory insurance law. Accident in the roundabout

On Monday morning, an Opel Crossland (driver 56) and a Mercedes B-Class (driver 66) collided in the Dr.-Külz-Straße/August-Bebel-Straße roundabout.
The 56-year-old was driving the Opel on Dr.-Külz-Straße and wanted to turn into the roundabout. This resulted in a collision with the Mercedes, which was already traveling in the roundabout. Nobody got hurt. The material damage amounts to around 2,000 euros. (lr)

A female driver (28) was slightly injured in an accident on Monday morning.
The driver (42) of a Renault Modus was traveling on the Outer Pillnitzer Straße towards Graupa. She drove into a VW Up! (Driver 28) wanted to turn left onto the premises of a gas station and stopped. The material damage amounts to around 4,000 euros. (rr)
Suspected burglar slept in gazebo

Police officers from the Pirna district caught a suspected thief (19) on Monday afternoon. There was also an arrest warrant against him.
A woman had informed the officers that her gazebo on Liebstädter Strasse had been broken into, that a man was sleeping in it and that she had locked the door. The police woke up the 19-year-old. When they checked the personal details, they discovered that there was an arrest warrant for the German. The man was arrested and taken to a correctional facility. (rr)
Senior woman robbed in supermarket – police advise caution

Yesterday morning, a senior citizen (82) was robbed in a supermarket on Rudolf-Renner-Straße.
The older woman put her handbag in the shopping cart and looked around for goods. At the checkout she discovered that strangers had stolen her wallet from her bag. In addition to 50 euros, the wallet contained the 82-year-old’s personal documents.
Four similar cases occurred yesterday in another market in Pirna and in three other markets in Heidenau. The police are investigating and checking whether the crimes are related.
The police advise:
– Show a healthy distrust!
– When shopping, do not put your wallet in your shopping bag, shopping cart or walker!
– Keep your handbag closed and don’t let it out of your sight in the store!
– Store wallets, cell phones and valuables in locked pockets close to your body!
– Keep your distance from strangers and avoid physical contact! (ml)

Police officers from the Freital-Dippoldiswalde district stopped the driver (31) of an e-scooter who was traveling without insurance.
