On Thursday evening, truck enthusiasts in “Buskerud Truckers” organize a motorcade for Jonas Aarseth Henriksen (30) in Hønefoss.
Jonas was found murdered on 17 August outside a cabin in Nes in Ådal.
One of the organizers and friends of Jonas, Robin Andersen Hellingsrud, tells VG that Jonas was a joy-spreader. He is very moved to see how many people take part in the procession.
– The commitment Jonas showed to the industry was formidable. He was a joy spreader. To see how many people now want to honor him is amazing. He had appreciated this, says Hellingsrud.
Several residents of Hønefoss have turned up for the motorcade. Along the roads you see several people with flowers.
Before the motorcade, there was a funeral in Hønefoss church. according to NRK the church was full. The funeral was open to everyone, but the family did not want the media to be present.

Jonas Aarseth Henriksen (30) was a lorry driver, manager of his own company and former Norwegian champion in putting chains on tyres.
In July 2020, he uploaded his first video on TikTok.
Under the name LastebilJonas, he mostly shared humorous videos from everyday life. He quickly became popular, gaining over 50,000 followers.
