Motorbike Rider Survives 20-Meter Fall from Overpass in Kuala Lumpur

A motorbike rider in Malaysia managed to survive the fall from overpass 20 meters high. This motorbike rider was thrown from his motorbike before falling from a height and suffering broken bones.

As reported The StarMonday (25/9/2023), Ampang Jaya Police official Mohd Azam Ismail said that accident it happened on Sunday (24/9) evening, around 18.30 local time.

The motorbike rider who was the victim of the accident is said to be still a student and 21 years old.

“This incident occurred on the U-turn flyover on Jalan Ukay Perdana,” said Mohd Azam in his statement.

“The 21-year-old driver was traveling from Hulu Kelang to the Ukay Perdana Mosque and at that time was driving on the flyover,” he said.

Mohd Azam said the rider suddenly lost control of his motorbike and hit a road divider before being thrown from the flyover.

“The victim fell approximately 20 meters, but managed to survive with a broken leg, broken ribs and broken spine,” he said.

“He was rushed to Ampang Hospital to receive medical treatment,” added Mohd Azam.
