VLISSINGEN – Someone was injured in an accident on the Nieuwe Zuidbeekseweg in Vlissingen on Saturday afternoon. The victim was taken to hospital.
The accident happened around 3 p.m. on the cycle path at the intersection with Parklaan near West-Souburg. The victim probably collided with a passenger car while cycling, but the police were unable to provide any further information about this this afternoon.
Ambulance workers placed the victim on a stretcher and then transferred him to a hospital for further treatment. Due to the accident, the road was closed for some time.
