The Malaysian team, RNF MotoGP Team, was removed from the list of participating teams MotoGP for the 2024 season.
The announcement was made by MotoGP on their official website. As a result, there is one empty slot in the upcoming 2024 MotoGP.
“The MotoGP Selection Committee, after discussions with members of the FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports, decided not to select the RNF MotoGP Team for the 2024 season.”

“Repeated violations and violations of the Participation Agreement that affect MotoGP’s image prompted this decision,” wrote MotoGP in their statement.
Under these conditions, one empty team seat will be determined immediately. The selected independent team will continue to use Aprilia engines.
“The Selection Committee will review and examine applications submitted for an Independent Team, using Aprilia engines, to join the MotoGP grid in 2024,” wrote MotoGP.
