Two days after the Mandalik MotoGP race ended, MotoGP uploaded a moment of footage when Oliveira kept his promise to Risman.
“Hold his word! After one of the hotel staff helped him all week, Miguel Oliveira made sure the hotel staff’s hard work was rewarded,” wrote MotoGP in the video’s description.
Oliveira performed brilliantly at the Mandalika MotoGP. After darting to pole position, Oliveira managed to create a significant time difference with the other drivers.
As a result, Oliveira was completely unmatched and no longer received a serious threat to cross the finish line.
“I want to dedicate this podium to a hotel staff named Risman. He has supported me throughout this week, he is a very friendly person.”
“So I promised him if I was able to reach the podium, I would dedicate it to him. So Risman, this is for you,” said Oliveira.
The achievement of 25 points from the Mandalika MotoGP allows Oliveira to cover his disappointment for failing to win points at the Qatar MotoGP last year.
Oliveira is currently five points away from the leader of the 2022 MotoGP standings, Enea Bastianini.
