Lap 13/20 – Alex Marquez (Honda LCR) overtook Bagnaia (Ducati) for seventh position.
Between Quartararo (Yamaha) and Rins (Suzuki) there are 3 ″ 4.
Valentino Rossi (Yamaha Petronas) crashes, now 13th.

Round 12/20 – Still Quartararo (Yamaha) in the lead, but behind him now is Alex Rins (Suzuki), who got rid of Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia).
Jack Miller (Ducati) has a good ascent, passing Mir (Suzuki) for fifth place.
Only Jake Dixon, last, is slower than Valentino Rossi (Yamaha Petronas), now 11th.

Lap 11/20 – The gap between Quartararo (Yamaha) and Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia) is close to 3 ″. ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia (Ducati) is a bit in the shade in seventh position.
Valentino Rossi (Yamaha Petronas) has no rhythm, with times rising lap after lap. Nakagami (Honda LCR) also passes it and is tenth.

Round 9/20 – Tenth after tenth Quartararo (Yamaha) is leaving: 2 ″ 2 at the finish. Another position gained by Rins (Suzuki), now third after passing Pol Espargarò (Honda).

Lap 8/20 – Quartararo (Yamaha) tries to escape, putting 1 ″ 8 between himself and Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia). Really behind Zarco (Ducati Pramac), 12th at 8 ″ 4 from the leader.

Lap 7/20 – 1 ″ 3 between Quartararo (Yamaha) and Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia). Third Pol Espargarò (Honda), fourth Bagnaia (Ducati) and fifth Mir (Suzuki).
Valentino Rossi (Yamaha Petronas) lost another position, now 9th.
Another couple overtaking for the Suzuki, with Rins 4th and Mir 5th passing Bagnaia (Ducati) wide in Turn 7.

Round 6/20 – Quartararo (Yamaha) takes the lead and tries to dig a small gap. The Espargarò brothers follow him, with Pol (Honda) ahead of Aleix (Aprilia). Mir and Rins’ two Suzukis pass Miller (Ducati), now seventh.
Aliex Espargarò (Aprilia) passes Pol (Honda) and is second.

Round 5/20 – Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia) overtakes Bagnaia (Ducati), recovering the third position. This is the top 10:

Round 4/20 – Quartararo (Yamaha) overtakes Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia) and is now second. The Spaniard is also overtaken by Bagnaia (Ducati).

Round 3/20 – Overtaking and counter-overtaking between the Espargarò brothers, Quartararo (Yamaha) conquered the third position. Mir (Suzuki) and Rins (Suzuki) pass Rossi (Yamaha Petronas), now eighth. These are the riders’ tires:

Round 2/20 – Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia) overtakes Bagnaia (Ducati) for the second position. Fourth is Quartararo (Yamaha), then Miller (Ducati), Rossi (Yamaha Petronas), Mir (Suzuki), Rins (Suzuki), Zarco (Ducati Pramac) and Nakagami (Honda LCR).
In the accident between Martin and Marquez, the fault of the eight-time world champion, who knocked out his rival, is evident.

Lap 1/20 – Fall for Jorge Martin (Ducati Pramac) and Marc Marquez (Honda).
First is Pol Espargarò (Honda), with six tenths on Bagnaia (Ducati), then Aleix Espargarò (Aprilia), Rossi (Yamaha Petronas) is sixth.

14.01 – Green light for the Silverstone GP – At the first corner, Pol Espargarò (Honda) takes the lead, followed by Quartararo (Yamaha) and Bagnaia (Ducati).

13.58 – Reconnaissance lap for the 21 MotoGP riders.

13.55 – Reconnaissance lap by the Safety Car. Marc Marquez (Honda) will mount the Soft at the rear, as he did in Austria, where he headed the race before the bike change.
The Dorna graphics indicate other changes, with Bagnaia (Ducati) and Quartararo (Yamaha) credited with a Soft at the front.

13.53 – Seven minutes to the start of the race, drivers all focused on the grid.

13.00 – The historic Silverstone track is preparing to host the 12th race of the 2021 MotoGP world championship, led by Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha). 20 laps will be scheduled, for a total of 118 km covered. 5.9 km the length of the circuit, with 8 left and 10 right turns.
The rider with the most victories on this track is Jorge Lorenzo, at 3. A success also for Alex Rins, Andrea Dovizioso, Maverick Vinales, Valentino Rossi, Marc Marquez and Casey Stoner.
The last podium of the MotoGP class – dating back to 2019 – recorded the first place of Rins, the second of Marquez and the third of Vinales.
