KOMPAS.com – Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia is reluctant to call himself the champion’s favorite MotoGP Emilia Romagna 2020.

Pecco Bagnaia broke the lap record in qualifying MotoGP of Emilia Romagna at the Misano Circuit, Saturday (19/9/2020).

The Pramac Racing Ducati racer recorded time lap fastest 1 minute 30.973 seconds and make it be pole sitter.

However, Bagnaia must bury dreams to occupy pole position first in the premier class of MotoGP.

This consistency makes Bagnaia the favorite to win race MotoGP of Emilia Romagna.

However, Bagnaia did not want to laugh. He chose to be humble and wary of other racers.

“I’m not the favorite, considering I’ve never won a race in MotoGP, but I feel confident,” said Bagnaia.

“Of course Maverick Vinales (Monster Energy Yamaha), Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT), and Joan Mir (Suzuki Ecstar) have a great rhythm,” added the 23-year-old rider.

“Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) is also fast and it seems Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha) made progress in the last free practice, “said Bagnaia.

Pecco Bagnaia won the second podium at the San Marino MotoGP race at the Misano Circuit last weekend.

He finishes behind his classmate at Valentino Rossi’s VR46 racing academy, Franco Morbidelli.
