Next weekend, the big MotoGP party will take place at the Red Bull Ring. There are many highlights at the 2024 Austrian Motorcycle Grand Prix – even off the racetrack. Tickets are still available.
The premier class of motorcycle racing is approaching Austria. At the Red Bull Ring, fans can not only cheer on the world’s best motorcycle racers, but also the Austrian Moto3 wildcard rider Jakob Rosenthaler.
There is also an extensive supporting program. This includes meetings with the world championship stars and many highlights with concerts and stunt shows in the MotoGP Bike City. The award ceremony for the MotoGP sprint race will take place there for the first time on Saturday in the midst of the fans on the event stage.
MotoGP riders get on their mopeds
It all starts with the “MopedGP” premiere and the Pit Lane Walk on Thursday. Fans and friends of moped riding have the chance to do a few laps on the Grand Prix circuit. Not only will hundreds of moped riders be ringing in the race weekend, but also some MotoGP heroes. Anyone who wants to experience live how Brad Binder, Jack Miller, Marc and Álex Márquez, Jorge Martín or Miguel Oliveira take the corners with just a few horsepower can cheer on the stars from the open grandstand.
The Pit Lane Walk gives weekend ticket holders a glimpse into the teams’ pits.
World Cup stars up close
From Thursday to Saturday, the World Championship stars will meet the fans at the “Meet the Riders” event in the MotoGP Bike City. There will be additional opportunities for souvenir photos and autographs on Saturday and Sunday mornings at the “Hero Walk on the Styrian Green Carpet” in front of the Welcome Center at the Red Bull Ring.
After the MotoGP sprint race on Saturday, the top 3 riders will ride their bikes directly from the Grand Prix track to the MotoGP Bike City. They will be celebrated in the middle of the audience at the award ceremony on the event stage. On Sunday morning, Fabio Wibmer will sign autographs and talk with Dani Pedrosa about his experience on a MotoGP bike. Live-Acts, Stunt Shows & Air Displays
On Friday and Saturday evenings, the MotoGP Bike City stage is entirely dedicated to live acts. Alexander Eder, Granada and the cover bands “U2 TRIBUTE – Achtung Babies” and “KISS FOREVER” provide a festival feeling. During the day, from Friday to Sunday, Red Bull Masters of Dirt FMX shows take over the reins. There are also spectacular things to see at the numerous Adrian Guggemos trial stunt shows.
After Dario Costa conquered the airspace above the Red Bull Ring on Saturday with his Zivko Edge 540, the Flying Bulls thrilled the audience on Sunday with their legendary air display.
