MotoGP Aragon 2020, Fabio Quartararo crashes and doesn’t get even one point

Fabio Quartararo took pole position after recording the fastest time of 1 minute 47.076 seconds in the qualifying session.

This was a surprise considering that the French rider had a big accident in FP3 a few hours earlier and was transported on a medical stretcher.

Fabio Quartararo topped the 2020 MotoGP standings ahead of the Aragon Grand Prix which takes place this weekend.

Racer Petronas Yamaha SRT has collected 115 points.

Quartararo failed to get maximum points in the previous series, aka the French MotoGP.

Quartararo only got an additional seven points after only finishing ninth in the race at the Le Mans Circuit on Sunday (11/10/2020).

However, the result at Aragon turned out to be much worse and ensured that he was eliminated from the top of the World Championship standings.

Joan Mir who took third place in Aragon staged a coup top spot with 121 points.

The Aragon MotoGP race was won by Alex Rins from the Suzuki team, the eighth winner of the 10 series this season.

Quartararo finished 21.498 seconds longer than Rins.
