The Road America circuit has always been a popular circuit with regulars of the MotoAmerica Championship. The green circuit located north of Milwaukee is not known to be easy to learn with its 6.5 km to cover in 2’10, its height differences, its long straight line, its changes of asphalt and its very diverse turns. In short, it is a track as we appreciate them, which offers a lot of spectacle! Loris Baz has raced on circuits all over the world, from Phillip Island to Mugello to Jerez and he now places Road America on his list of favorites.

This route of Road America is a mixture of the routes of Laguna Seca, Road America, Indy and Daytona. It has always been my dream to do all these circuits. I’ve done two so far, so hopefully I can do the other two. These plots, like Suzuka, are just something really different. Seeing so many fans along the track is something so special. I did a full season last year without fans on the track (in WorldSBK), without being able to invite my friends in the pits, to have to wear a mask all the time. You have to stay in your MotorHome, it’s so difficult. I love seeing the fans around the track so when I came this morning and saw the cars everywhere it was just great, super cool for us. “
In the Superbike category of the MotoAmerica Championship, it is now indisputable that there is Jack Gagne, and the others. The Yamaha Fresh N ‘Lean Attack Performance rider has won five races in a row. I’m trying to stay longer with Jake Gagne and make his life more difficult because he’s had it way too easy for a few rounds. “
Unfortunately, when Loris Baz had just grabbed second place from Cameron Peterson in Sunday’s second race, his Ducati suffered an engine problem which forced him to retire.
The next round of the MotoAmerica Championship will take place on June 27 at Ridge Motorsport Park, near Seattle, it’s a safe bet that the Haut-Savoyard will be up like a cuckoo!
