Moto2 2025 starting field confirmed – Motorcycle Sports

The Moto2 grid for 2025 is now confirmed. The preliminary list of participants was published this Wednesday and shows a mix of rookies and experienced drivers.

Adrián Huertas, the world champion in the Supersport class, stands out as one of the most important rookies and joins the Italtrans Racing Team. Moto3 World Champion David Alonso will step up with the CFMOTO Aspar Team, alongside Dani Holgado. Iván Ortolá will take the step up with MT Helmets-MSi, where he will work with Sergio García.

After taking part in several races this season, Daniel Muñoz becomes a permanent rider for the Preicanos Racing Team, while Yuki Kunii (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia) and Collin Veijer (Red Bull KTM Ajo) complete the list of rookies.

As far as teams are concerned, the Yamaha VR46 Master Camp will now be replaced by Prima Pramac Yamaha. Preicanos Racing will start the season under this name for the first time after taking over Gas Up from Pertamina Mandalika in the middle of this year.
