The mother’s story began when she wanted to buy typical Japanese mochi at the Papaya supermarket which is famous for selling mochi of various flavors. While choosing mochi, this mother met a man who was tidying up the mochi rack. He then asked his father, what flavor of mochi was delicious.

“He (the father) had a new flavor in today’s promo. Tiramisu and lychee mochi. But the lychee one was gone. Then he brought one mochi from inside, he said it was from a promo. Just try it and don’t have to pay, that’s it, take the flavored mochi too. Oreo. So mom was given four mochi,” said the mother.
The mother admitted that she was confused about why these gentlemen suddenly gave her free mochi. Even though he had confirmed that he wanted to pay for the mochi, the father refused and said that he really wanted to share the mochi.
“At the cashier, Mama asked the father who sells mochi. It’s a pity, why does he have to promote it to me? Hey, the cashier said, the father is the one who owns the Papaya supermarket, ma’am. It turned out he was the one who felt sorry for me, because I looked shabby when I saw the mochi, I thought- think,” concluded the mother.
