This franchise shop became the location for the fall of a housewife named Sandra (41) when she was about to line up for cooking oil. He was later declared dead on his way to the hospital, Saturday (12/3).
“We are also deeply saddened by the families of the victims,” he explained to CNNIndonesia.com.
Furthermore, Arif as a representative of the company also apologized for not being able to provide cooking oil stocks according to the needs of the people in Berau.
“The shortage of cooking oil supplies is due to limited deliveries from suppliers,” he claimed.
“Hopefully the people (Berau and East Kalimantan) can be a little patient in these conditions,” he hoped.
He again expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. “We pray for the bereaved family to be given patience and sincerity,” he said.
It was previously reported that Teluk Bayur Police Chief AKP Kasiyono confirmed the incident. The victim’s name is Sandra, 41 years old. He is a resident of Teluk Bayur and has a history of asthma.
“It happened this morning, around 7 o’clock. When the victim was about to join other residents in front of the shop, he suddenly fell, coughing and convulsing,” said AKP Kasiyono.
“He died on the way to the hospital,” he continued.
Residents then reported the incident to the Teluk Bayur Police, which is not far from the scene. Witness statements were also collected. Three residents were questioned. It is known, shortly before the incident, Sandra had not had time to join the residents who were waiting for the shop to open.
“Getting down from the motorbike, he immediately fell. From the husband’s statement, he had forbidden his wife to join the line for cooking oil because she complained of chest pain,” he concluded.
