Mother speaks out in the case of prohibited car racing

In the case of the forbidden car race resulting in death, the mother made a testimony on Wednesday afternoon at the start of the trial.

The six-year-old boy was the second youngest of four siblings. He was never allowed to go out alone, said his mother at the Dresden regional court. When his playmates rang the doorbell that day and wanted to pick him up, he must have started running after all. The mother was not doing well after the birth of the fourth child a week earlier, her partner looked for the six-year-old. He is said to have only seen him again after the accident had already happened.

The 25-year-old co-driver of the main defendant also testified as a witness. Accordingly, the 32-year-old man braked, but no longer made it.

The trial is scheduled to continue on February 26th.
