The mother of a young woman who was killed in the terrorist attack in Vienna last November is suing the republic for more compensation for pain and suffering.
She was granted a one-time lump sum compensation of 2,000 euros as compensation for pain and suffering, reported the “courier” on Sunday. Now the woman is demanding compensation for pain and suffering of 80,000 euros because she has suffered from depression that needs treatment and significant grief since the attack.

Mother of Viennese terrorist victims demands 125,000 euros from the republic
In addition, there should be a so-called declaration of intent, since there is a high probability that “long-term and long-term consequences that are causal to the accident will remain,” says the complaint. There should be a further 20,000 euros in compensation for pain and suffering. And the funeral costs are also to be covered by the Republic of Austria. In total, the claims amount to just under 125,000 euros.

Before the decision on the lawsuit, the family tried, according to their lawyer, to come into contact with official Austria, but it allegedly did not work.
