Merlyn Carrillo, mother of Luis Alejandro Osechas, the young Venezuelan who suffers from autism and was attacked by other students from a Florida school, called the aggressors cruel who wanted the national to fight with them -he said-.
«Do you know the trauma that Luis Alejandro must have? … Those boys are cruel. They made fun of how my son talked. That boy who dances, I can’t get over it. There’s a lot of bad stuff in dancing, ”Merlyn told NTN24.
He pointed out that his son never told him anything about the bullying that he lived in the institution. “I think he did not do it out of fear,” he commented.
He adds that last Sunday he went to offer his condolences to an aunt “and I showed her the video and she said: it shouldn’t stay that way.”
16-year-old Osechas was attacked by students at Liberty High School in Florida. In a material released by Sergio Novelli, the Creole is beaten by an Afro-descendant while his accomplice records the event.
According to Novelli, the harassment of Osechas continued after the video ended, “because they took him to the bathroom and hit him hard on the head.”
Although the school reported that the attackers “were appropriately disciplined”, it is not known what the sanctions were against them.
