Suffering from aggressive breast cancer which is now affecting her left lung, Ms. Dias has the only option of this treatment to prolong her life, and possibly save her.
“It’s still a drug that I pay about $ 20,000 per month because it is not accepted by the RAMQ,” said Ms. Dias, Friday, in an interview with LCN.
“I’m saving money for the next step, chemotherapy in the US which costs around $ 70,000 per month,” she continued.
Although she and her family are trying to get as far as possible with her current treatment, they are already thinking about the next step in the fight against cancer.
“To date, all the treatments that I have done, after two, three months, it is already starting to no longer work,” said the mother, who has been going from one treatment to another for years to try. to survive.
She therefore collects donations through her crowdfunding campaign to help pay for her expensive treatments.
