Shortly after Loes became pregnant, she became seriously ill. Eight months later, she’s still not the same. “I’ve literally experienced all ailments (you shouldn’t even call this ailments, but slaps in the face), and man can a person feel weak, lost, exhausted and powerless,” she writes. “Turning yourself over in bed and having to throw up from your just washed duvet. Curtains closed day and night because the light is too bright. Vomiting for a sip of water. Not being able to wash yourself anymore because that costs too much energy. HG. What a person you are mean devil.”

She is happy for all the support from her environment. “I have the sweetest angels around me. At times when I could no longer handle it physically and or spiritually, my family dragged me through it. What respect and unprecedented love I have for them, and received from them.”

A month ago, Loes announced that she was expecting a girl. At the end of July it became clear that she and Douwe Bob are expecting a child. The singer said at the time that the two are not in a relationship.
