Mother in Dallas, Texas Killed by Stray Bullet on Prom Dress Shopping Trip: CNN Report

A mother in Dallas, Texas, killed by a stray bullet. The victim died shot while on his way to pick up a dress prom with his daughter.

Reported CNN, Tuesday (16/5/2023), the victim was named Ana Moreno. This 39-year-old woman was driving with her teenage daughter when she was suddenly hit by a stray bullet at around 16.00 local time.

The Dallas Police Department said the victim was trapped between vehicles that were shooting at each other. “People in two other vehicles shot each other while driving,” local police said.

As well as Ana Moreno, three other men were shot in the incident and are in critical condition at a local hospital.

Meanwhile, one of Moreno’s daughters, Michelle Rodriguez, told affiliates CNN WFAA that his mother was shot while sitting next to his sister. They are on their way to pick up dresses promher.

“Anything you want from a mom, there it is,” says Rodriguez.

“This wasn’t the time, it shouldn’t be him. And that was for something stupid. How do you do that to someone innocent?” he continued.

So far, police have not made any arrests in this case. CNN have contacted Dallas police for updates on the shooting.
