the essentials A video that has gone viral in the United States shows how a mother from Philadelphia stood up to a biker who attacked her on Sunday October 1st. The man went so far as to break the back window of her vehicle and threaten her with a gun.
The images have toured the United States: in Philadelphia, Sunday October 1, a mother was violently attacked by a motorcyclist in the street, who went so far as to break the rear window of her vehicle and threatened with a gun.
The scene, captured on video and broadcast on social networks, took place around 8:45 p.m., along 1400 South Penn Square, one of the main arteries of the Pennsylvania city, reports the American press.
Nikki Bullock, the woman whose car was damaged, told NBC10 how the altercation started: she said she was in her car, with her two children aged 2 and 5, when one of the bikers hit his vehicle. “They don’t pay attention to the tracks. They do anything,” she explained. “When I decided to turn, he hit the side of the car.”
An argument then broke out: the tone rose so much that the biker, in a fit of anger, broke the rear window of the American’s vehicle by jumping on her. Worse: when going back down, the biker drops what appears to be a gun, with which he will rob Nikki Bullock a few seconds later.
“I just wanted to protect them”
But the young woman does not give up: she confronts the violent driver, and even goes so far as to knock him out of his vehicle in front of dozens of onlookers gathered nearby. “It felt like it was a small gun and at that point my windshield was already broken, so what was it really going to do to me, for real?” -she reacted.
Fortunately for her, the altercation did not go any further: the biker ended up leaving, leaving Nikki Bullock to take her children out of his vehicle. “I’m just grateful that they [mes enfants] are going well. They didn’t have a scratch,” she continued. “It was just the simple fact that I had kids in the car. Honestly, I just wanted to protect them.”
The Philadelphia police immediately announced that they had apprehended the suspected biker.
