Loosdrecht – The mother of Fleur Balkestein from Loosdrecht, who was killed by a speeding fellow villager in March 2016, is shocked that the perpetrator may soon be allowed to go on leave in his own hometown. “In your head he’s been gone for three years. But you don’t realize that he can go on leave after a year and a half. I really don’t want to meet him in the village,” says Mariëlle ten Rouwelaar.
