entertainment">It was his mother who recognized Swijnenberg’s love for radio and ensured that he was allowed to visit the local broadcaster when he was fourteen. He is still grateful to her for that. “Mum who let me go to the studio for all those hours for years to do what makes me so happy, who decided to come back from vacation the day before because I couldn’t miss my radio program, and who until last a week early how the broadcast had been.”
