A mother and her daughter were killed in a Russian grenade attack in Kherson in southern Ukraine on Saturday, local authorities said.
The two women, aged 48 and 28, were killed when shells hit near an educational institution in the city, local authorities report on Telegram. It has not been possible to have the information verified by independent sources.
On Saturday, the Ukrainian authorities announced that the number of people killed after Friday’s Russian rocket attack, which hit several apartment blocks in the city of Slavyansk, had risen to eleven.
