Firefighting authorities believe that the fire started in the furnace and grew by burning waste paper piled up in the house.

At around 6 a.m. today, a 25-ton truck and a 4.5-ton truck collided near Damyang 1 Tunnel in the Gwangju direction of the Gwangju-Daegu Expressway.
In this accident, the driver of a 4.5-ton truck suffered cardiac arrest and died although he was taken to the hospital, and the driver of another truck suffered minor injuries.
To clean up the sediment that spilled from the 25-ton truck, all lanes of the road at the accident site were closed at one time.
