Palakkad ∙ Mother and child died during delivery surgery in Chittoor. Anita, a native of Nallopilli Parakalam, Palakkad, died. The incident happened in the morning. Anita was admitted to the Chittoor Taluk Hospital on February 6.
The baby was brought out on Thursday morning but was dead. After bleeding, Anita was shifted to Thrissur Medical College. Anita died before reaching the hospital.
