He Football Club Motagua classified the Concacaf Champions Cup 2025 after winning 4-2, on the aggregate score, at Eagle of El Salvador in the playoffs Central American Cup. The six-time Champions Cup winners join Club León (2023), Seattle Sounders FC (2022) and CF Monterrey (2021) as Concacaf’s four representatives at next summer’s FIFA Club World Cup.
CF Pachuca will also participate in the 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup, starting with the FIFA Americas Derby on December 11 against the CONMEBOL 2024 Copa Libertadores champion. If they advance, they will compete for the Challenger Cup of FIFA and a place in the Final on December 14.
