In the coming days, the air temperature in Latvia will rise to +24 .. + 30 degrees, one or two degrees colder weather will remain on part of the coast, with the wind blowing from the sea, weather forecasters predict.
At night on Saturday the air temperature will still drop to +8 .. + 15 degrees, the following nights will be a little warmer. In some places the fog will thicken. A slow variable wind will blow, a moderate west wind is expected on Saturday and Sunday.
The weather will be mostly sunny. From 19 August, the probability of rain and thunderstorms will increase, then the air temperature may drop due to clouds, but it will remain above normal until the end of next week.
According to the data of the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center, the water temperature in the sea, rivers and lakes is +16 .. + 21 degrees.
