Finally, Mostaganem now has its own long-awaited medical imaging service.
This new Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) service is now open. It was inaugurated at the end of the past week at the 240-bed hospital in Kharouba in the presence of the wali of Mostaganem, the DSP and the doctors in charge of its commissioning. Members of the medical profession were also invited to the ceremony. This new service will not only allow access to MRI exams for citizens of the entire wilaya of Mostaganem, but it will reduce the number of patients waiting and reducing delays. It will also avoid the long and very costly trips of patients in mostaganemois to other wilayas. The availability of this new device will allow a high-quality care offer, reduced waiting times and therefore faster diagnosis, it was pointed out. This hospital was reinforced a few weeks ago by an analysis laboratory developed to take care of the sick.
