A survey published by Kaiser Family Foundation revealed that the majority of the unvaccinated think that the vaccine poses a greater risk to health than COVID-19 itself.
According to the survey, 53% of those not vaccinated understand that getting vaccinated represented a greater risk to their health than being infected with the coronavirus. “In contrast, an overwhelming majority (88%) of vaccinated adults said that becoming infected with COVID-19 is a greater risk to their health than the vaccine,” the report states.
The report also reveals that people who have not been vaccinated against the virus
they are less concerned with the delta variant, which so far is the most transmissible. They also showed distrust in the safety and efficacy of vaccines.
Meanwhile, 57% of those surveyed understand that the media have exaggerated the seriousness of the pandemic.
The survey also revealed that Americans will wear the mask more due to the increase in COVID-19 cases and the spread of the delta variant.
