“Obviously they are already pregnant, they were there, but what the suspect did was just welcome them and provide money for their daily needs. So there was no parenting on the part of the suspect,” she said.
To the police, the suspect admitted that he cared for ten pregnant women who had come to him, five of whom had already given birth. However, the police are still investigating the truth about the suspect’s confession.
“For the mothers we have known there are 10, but this is just a confession of the suspect. But the rest is when the baby is born, there will be a sense of affection from the parents. We are still verifying how the state is, is It is true that there are more than 10 pregnant women, “he explained.
Previously reported, Bogor police arrested Suhendra (32) or known as the “father of a million children”. Police said Suhendra was arrested on suspicion of child trafficking and illegal adoption.
Bogor AKBP Police Chief Iman Imanuddin said his party moved after receiving information about the alleged trafficking of children carried out by Suhendra or SH.
“The method used by the author is to attract or collect pregnant women, so after the delivery process, the baby will be delivered to the person who adopted it. However, the adoption process itself is done illegally,” Iman said. a press conference at Bogor Police Headquarters, Jl. Strong Faith, Bogor Regency, Wednesday (9/28).
Iman said the adopters were asked for a sum of money. Suhendra, Iman said, on behalf of the Father of a Million Children Foundation.
“Adopters are asked to pay Rp 15 million from each child adopted by the authors. The authors act on behalf of the Father of a Million Children Foundation,” he said.
