A poll conducted between 15 and 23 December by Avangarde commissioned by G4Media shows that most Romanians believe that Romania’s refusal to join Schengen is unjustified, but the main culprits for the failure lie with Romania.
The survey, conducted with the CATI method, shows that Romanians largely approve of the European Union sanctions against Russia after the invasion of Ukraine, but say that the EU has imposed too difficult conditions on Romania to receive the funds of the PNRR.
Most respondents believe that vaccines and the anti-Covid vaccination campaign have not been beneficial to people’s health, and most respondents are convinced that the Covid pandemic was real.
The majority of Romanians believe that EU membership is beneficial for Romania, but are convinced that the products on the Romanian market are of lower quality than those in the West.
