“The test is a total waste (money and time). And for all these numbers about how much we test, the majority is just a total waste,” continued the founder of Microsoft.
According to CNBC, due to high loads, US laboratories provide Covid-19 test results in a few days, a week or even more.
“Right now, the thing where you wait more than three days, sometimes seven days to get a test, no one has to pay $ 1 for it. That’s crazy,” Gates noted.

He stressed that, with so long testing time, people failed to take the necessary safety measures on time and continued to spread the infection.
