Songs as surprising as they are moving
Originally from Switzerland where he was born in 1960, Stephan Eicher has been immersed in music since a very young age. Before embracing the career that we know him to be, in 1980, at the age of 20, he was part of the music group Grauzone, a group strongly inspired by Berlin punk. Little by little, the singer wants to distance himself to go solo. In 1991, during the release of his sixth album, “Engelberg”, he experienced a meteoric rise in France. Since then, he has 17 albums to his credit, including “Ode”, the last, released on October 28, 2022.
This 17th album has a particular importance for the artist: written during confinement, a period during which he lost both parents… The twelve songs of this opus are as surprising as they are moving.
