Moselle. Mediflash, the start-up that wants to better pay caregivers

He still has a little trouble finding his way around the Metz-Bliiida labyrinth. Maxime Klein, from Tressange near Thionville, put his computers there only six months ago. His two partners, met on the benches of HEC, Stanislas Chastel and Léopold Treppoz, remained in the Parisian premises of the young start-up. “But me, I’m a bit chauvinistic and I don’t like Paris,” smiles the 25-year-old.

A former temporary nurse, he became aware very early on of the problems encountered by his peers. “A lot of things are not right, including pay. Therefore, we looked for many different ways to better pay nurses by having a technical vision of the subject. “

Targeted self-entrepreneurship

Mediflash offers caregivers who carry out temporary assignments in health establishments (clinics, nursing homes, specialized reception centers, public hospitals, etc.) a salary that is 20 to 25% higher than in the interim. At the same time, establishments that hire are relieved of 20% of charges. A feat made possible by the status of autoentrepreneur.

“Caregivers who register on our site are encouraged to declare themselves as self-employed. We offer them assignments and, if they accept, we establish a relationship between them and the institution that recruits them, ”explains Maxime. Mediflash is responsible for editing the invoices. The payment of the salary is made within two weeks after the mission, against two months in interim. “The idea is to give autonomy to independent nurses so that they relieve themselves of administrative constraints” Mediflash earns profits through commissions on each placement.

The European market in the sights

Founded in August 2020, the company shows monthly growth of 25%. Eight hundred caregivers have already been seduced. “For the moment, we are mainly targeting nursing assistants and nurses. Ultimately, we would like to cover all the medical and paramedical professions, ”explains Maxime.

After having conquered a large part of the Grand Est, Mediflash hopes to gain new markets and establish itself throughout France, and even Europe, as quickly as possible.
