The law of tragic series. In the aftermath of the tragedy that claimed the life of a 47-year-old man near Richemont, a new fatal accident mourns the A31. On this night from Friday to Saturday February 19, at 3:05 very precisely, a motorist lost his life near the Kinepolis cinema complex in Thionville. The accident occurred in the Luxembourg Metz direction and involves a second party, namely a truck hit head-on by the light vehicle.
The driver of the Peugeot 207 was therefore traveling in the opposite direction on the A31 before colliding with this driver registered in Italy. Upon their arrival on the spot, the emergency services could only note the death, on the spot, of this 46-year-old man. Access to the motorway portion located between the Kinepolis entrance and exit ramps is still currently closed to motorists. The driver of the 40 t truck, unharmed but badly shocked, was taken care of by the firefighters.
