A massive fire was reported near the Scientific and Research Institute of Precision Instruments, on Dekabristov Street in the northern part of the Russian capital, Moscow.
According to press reports, the fire spread over an area of 1,500 square metres.
Russian emergency services told TASS news agency that he heard the sound of exploding fuel canisters.
The institute works on the development and production of radio control channels for marine and aviation jet weapons.
