On Monday, Tønsbergs Blad published an article about 25-year-old Ivana Siric. The title was “What Ivana (25) is doing is illegal in Norway”, and Siric is depicted in training clothes on the sofa. Siric is a mixed martial arts (MMA) athlete, which is a full-contact martial art that allows the use of both punching and grappling techniques. Ramm, on the other hand, believed that the title of the local newspaper, together with the picture, could indicate something else.
– It is possible that I will just twist and turn everything, and am completely wrong here, but it looks like the angle they have on the plus in the local newspaper down Tønsberg will not only rattle a little in the piggy bank for martial arts enthusiasts, but also poke a little at the baguette to the guys from Borre and Barkåker, Ramm wrote jokingly on his Instagram. Barkåker and Borre are settlements in Tønsberg and Horten municipality.
But not everyone thought Ramm’s viewing was as enjoyable.
Trouble
– How to sexualize these images? Ivana is wearing normal training clothes, asks one of Ramm’s followers.
Over time, Morten Ramm has become known for his humorous Instagram posts where he jokes with everything from news to the lives of national and international celebrities on social media. But the post about Siric is not the first that has created reactions.
Harlem Alexander and Jan Thomas received criticism on social media for their dog keeping after Ramm published a post by them with their little puppy in a sling.
This time, Ramm posts can get physical skills. Ivana Siric has invited him to the match.
Got hateful comments: – Hairy
Invites to battle
– Now you had a little fun at my expense, it’s OK! You’re probably fun in town, but not the strongest. I challenge you to use your Instagram to livestream an MMA fight against a little lady of 60 kilos. Are you taking the challenge tough? PS: Promise not to hit hard, Siric replied during Ramm’s post.
Morten Ramm was quick with his answer.
– I do not take the challenge, as I am not good at doing mixed martial arts, Ramm replied.
– Okay, it’s going well. Enjoy wrestling training, Siric replied and attached a picture of Ramm as a nude wrestler with Håvard Lilleheie to a humorous feature for the program “Manshow” in 2007.
The NRK farewell: – Made one mistake
– Many will say this match
Dagbladet has spoken with Siric, who takes it all in a good mood.
– I think it’s just fun. I know he’s a comedian, so it’s fun to joke with him. But he should line up. I’m a little girl of 60 kilos, so I do not understand why he does not dare, says Siric to Dagbladet.
– Did you react to how Tønsbergs Blad angled its case about you?
– No, they’re just doing their job. I know what I’m doing, and if the title makes more people click on the case, then it’s just good advertising for me, Siric answers.
She hopes Ramm changes his mind and goes to battle.
– If he’s going to joke with me, then he should test out what I do too, says Siric and laughs.
The MMA star becomes a mother
– Should be fun
Morten Ramm is happy that Siric thought the post was funny.
– I hope that the joke was quite clear to most people, and then it seems that it worked for its purpose. It should just be fun, Ramm writes in an SMS to Dagbladet.
Ramm has so far not confirmed to Dagbladet whether he will compete or not.
Dagbladet has contacted Tønsbergs Blad with questions about whether the angle opened up doubts about what Ivana Siric is doing.
