New York State posted its most encouraging figures in two months on Saturday.
Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Saturday that 86 deaths have been caused by COVID-19.
This is the smallest number of victims since the end of March in this American state bordering Quebec.
Cuomo said other areas of the state, including Long Island, could reopen on Wednesday if the trend remains the same.
