Mortal Kombat is a big name among the gamers. The first game appeared in 1992. This was a huge success and Mortal Kombat grew into one of the best known and most loved video game franchises of all time. Two films were also made, but these were not exactly well received. Yet there is now coming a third movie out, about which actor Lewis Tan express themselves.
The Mortal Kombat games are mainly known for horrifying and brutal fatalities finising moves, in which it is possible to brutally kill your opponent at the end of the battle, for example by tearing his heart out of his chest, removing the spine snatch or set it on fire. The film will also show several of these ‘finishers’, Tan now reveals.
What to expect?
Tan, who plays an important but secret role in the reboot that continues James Wan | is being produced, says the film will also show multiple horrific finishers, who made it queasy during filming: ”There were certain days when I really felt nauseated on set. That’s no joke, some scenes are really horrifying”.
The film will normally be shown early next year.
