Mortal Kombat can blow out thirty candles and celebrates them with a video that summarizes the best (read: the bloodiest) from thirty years of fighting to death in a minute and a half. Thirty years is a long time for a video game franchise, but creative brain Ed Boon isn’t going to stop. He had this to say in a interview with the PS blog.
“[We haven’t] made the last one yet. I guess that’s probably the closest I can say without giving too much away. “
So Boon keeps his lips together … even though he can’t help but reassure fans with the message that Mortal Kombat has no plans to give up yet. In the same interview, the man also indicates that he will do everything to keep the matches fresh; Mortal Kombat will continue to evolve and push the boundaries (of pain). We are curious.
