Mortal Kombat creator Edward Boone continues to communicate with fans of the fighting game on Twitter. This time he responded to the post of one of the gamers.
The quoted tweet presents an image with six of the franchise’s characters. From left to right: Smoke, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Rain and Yermak.
Four of them have been officially confirmed for Mortal Kombat 1, but gamers have high hopes for the return of Reptile and Yermak.
The developer only stirs up interest: “It is quite possible that this will happen,” Boon replies. Perhaps soon Reptile and Ermak will add to the list of confirmed characters of the upcoming part of the fighting game.
The official release of Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled for September 19, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series and PC.
