One of the original creators of the classic fighting series Mortal combat tells on twitter how he invented the now classic logo for the game. John Tobias writes that he was the one who designed the dragon logo which later became synonymous with the game.
The name Dragon Attack comes from the Queen song of the same name who loved Ed Boon. However, they later changed the name to Mortal combat, but the dragon had to stay. Another funny oddity is that the dragon’s trunk was nearly demolished because Tobias’s sister mistook it for a seahorse.
