The developers of the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 1 have released a brand new trailer that introduces several new fighters. First of all, it is about the Lin Kuei clan and the return of several characters that have already appeared in the series in the past – either as playable characters or just story characters.

From the latest Mortal Kombat 11, the demigod Rain returns who controls water and all kinds of weather. No matter how interesting his story will be, he looks great as a character – he can even teleport using water vortices, or “wash away” opponents into one such vortex.
But the second character will be more interesting for our people – the fighter and later the cyborg Smoke. The origin of the smoke warrior is from the Czech Republic, his real name is Tomáš Vrbada. He first appeared in Mortal Kombat 3 and then returned in 2011’s revitalized Mortal Kombat.
Besides these two warriors of the Netherrealm, in the game more fighters from the Lin Kuei clan will appear: the cyborgs Cyrax and Sektor or the ice woman Frost will appear as cameo characters that can help you in the fight.
In addition to Rain and Smok, the following playable characters have been confirmed for Mortal Kombat 1: Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Kitana, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Mileena, Raiden, and Shang Tsung (the latter via pre-order). The title is released for PC, Nintendo Switch and the new generation of consoles already on September 19.
