Mortada punishes 4 players and fires coaching staff amid ongoing crises in Zamalek

The Egyptian club, Zamalek, announced the freezing of 4 players in its ranks, after losing to Al-Masry, by three goals to two, in the league.

Zamalek board member Gamal Abdel Hamid mentioned several decisions by the club’s president, Mortada Mansour, after the loss in round 22 of the league.

Abdel Hamid explained to Zamalek TV that the board of directors headed by Mortada Mansour decided to freeze 4 players in the team, in addition to deducting 30% of their total contracts, and 25% of their contracts for the current season.

He added that the club president decided to completely dispense with the services of the current technical staff of the football team, while Abdel Hamid did not specify the names of the quadrants, who were subject to freezing and deduction of dues.
